Welc me Join the Fun to Summer at Ojai Valley School Approximately 300 campers will venture to Ojai Valley School this summer. Some will be new. Some will return for their second, third, or fourth years drawn back by the zany warm humor of their favorite camp counselors and the cool shade of the oakstudded campus. Overview Day Resident Campers Ojai Valley School is located in Ojai, California, a resort town surrounded by oak trees, citrus groves, and rugged mountains. Our two beautiful campuses are located near the Los Padres National Forest and offer an ideal setting for learning and adventure. In 2012, our programs will be offered in sessions of two, four, and six weeks for day and resident campers. Most programs will be centered at the Lower Campus with students enjoying excursions to the Upper Campus

Academic Classes Afternoon Activities Academics for Grades 28 Academic classes for elementary and middle school students meet Monday through Friday with four academic periods each morning. Campers are grouped by grade level with classes designed to sharpen skills in reading, writing and mathematics. Performing Arts This campwithinacamp provides day and resident campers, ages 1116, with instruction in acting, singing, and movement. Campers can also explore the technical side of the theater by working backstage or in the lighting and sound booth of our modern performing arts center. The goal of the program is to introduce students to a variety of disciplines in the Performing Arts, and to provide campers with a fun, supportive environment in which to make friends and develop their selfesteem.

STEM Program The STEM program is designed to engage campers, ages 1316, in stimulating coursework that will develop their curiosity and understanding about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math STEM.
